           Charlie our Dog

Charley our dog

pet lovers

Being pet lovers ourselves, my wife and I thought we would let you no the symptoms our dog had. We had two dogs until recent when we unfortunately lost (Barney) to old age and with Barney & Charlie being so close for so long, when Barney died we put charlie's behaviour down to him missing Barney.

He seemed to lose his appetite and lose weight, he was just sitting around looking very sad and sorry for himself.

But he also started drinking lots of water and out of character started peeing in the house even after just short periods of time left alone. After two or three weeks his behaviour didn't seem to improve, so we took him to the vets for a checkup.

To our unpleasant surprise he had got diabetes! We were devastated at first, but with his treatment of insulin, he is now a different dog again, playful, happy, and not peeing in the house. We inject him twice a day every 12 hours, he even looks forward to his injections the (weirdo) :)

And this is what has brought me onto 0.5ml caninsulin syringes we are needing 14 syringes a week, opprox two boxes a month, expensive from the vets!

So I've found a great place to buy them, for cheapness, quality & reliability on deliveries.  I've also found some interesting books and articles on diabetes and pet care, I hope my website helps you.
